TPI welcomes new partner Hollandbio
The TPI partner programme is pleased to announce that Hollandbio will be joining as a partner. Various organisations have joined forces in this partner programme to accelerate the transition to animal-free innovations. With the addition of Hollandbio, TPI now also has a representative from the biotechnological sector, which offers opportunities to more quickly implement non-animal models in practice.

Association of biotech companies
Hollandbio is the association of biotech companies in the Netherlands, working as a unit on a society in which biotechnology optimally contributes to health, sustainability and economic growth. The biotech sector is known for groundbreaking innovations that benefit humans, animals and the planet. However they are rarely introduced to society without a few bumps in the road. Hollandbio contributes to the success of the sector by bringing together and supporting companies, by putting opportunities and threats on the agenda, and by mapping solutions that allow the innovations of frontrunners to become widely accepted.
Cooperation to improve prediction without laboratory animals
The partnership allows Hollandbio to work on fulfilling the TPI mission “better prediction without laboratory animals” and the ambition to position the Netherlands as the catalyst of the domestic and international transition to animal-free innovations. The biotechnology sector in the Netherlands is known for its widespread innovation in the area of both the development and implementation of non-animal models. As a result, TPI views this sector as an important stakeholder and is thrilled about this new partnership. Wieteke Wouters will be joining the TPI core group on behalf of Hollandbio and Britt van de Ven will be using her experience as programme manager of Personalised Health within the transition group. TPI is looking forward to speeding up the transition in cooperation with Hollandbio and the other 10 partners!
